There is one room type for all of the hotels except Les Trois Rois in Basel.
In Basel, the group is occupying three hotels. The 5-star Hotel Le Trois Rois is an upgrade that you can select during the registration process. The cost is the same for the other two hotels and included in the registration fee.
If you choose not to upgrade, your options are the 4-star Hotel Basel and 4-star Hotel D Basel, which you will select from on the follow-up form that will be sent to you by AIA Meetings once you complete the initial registration phase.

Travel from Zurich Airport to Basel Hotel
Saturday, September 21
- Upon arrival at the Zurich airport we recommend you purchase a train ticket from the Zurich airport train station to Basel (36 Swiss Franc). Try to get a direct train. Some trains may require you to switch trains. Travel time is up to one hour and 30-minutes depending on when you arrive. Upon arrival in Basel, it is a 20-minute walk to the hotels or a short taxi ride.

DEPARTURE
Hotel Astoria, Lucern to Zurich Airport
Sunday, September 29
- To return to Zurich airport we recommend you purchase a train ticket from that travels from the Luzern train station to the Zurich Airport. The Luzern train station is a 5-minute walk from the Hotel Astoria. The travel time from the Luzern train station to the Zurich Airport station is between 1 hour and 10 minutes and up to 1 hour and forty minutes.
Vals to Zurich
Wednesday, October 2
- An airport transfer is only provided between Vals and Zurich on Wednesday, October 2nd.
- The conference bus will travel 2 ½ to 3 hours to Zurich Airport and from there it will go to Zurich City Center for those remaining in the city.
- A 1:00pm flight or later is safe. If you are planning to book an earlier departure please make sure to reserve your own transport to the airport.
