Design for Aging Review Four

The fourth cycle of our biannual competition was published online only.

The jury for the 1999 cycle of DAC's facilities review reviewed 116 submissions to the program (a record number), determining that 7 should receive AIA/AAHSA (American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging) citations, 49 be included in the successful traveling exhibit program, and 87 be included in the online publication. The projects included in this review represent the best in design for aging, and also present a broad overview of the design for aging architectural, design, and consultant community's responses to a variety of programs, budgets and challenges.
