The Committee on Architecture for Education (CAE) is a Knowledge Community of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). We are a large and active group of over 10,000 architects and allied professionals concerned with the quality and design of all types of educational, cultural, and recreational facilities that promote lifelong learning in safe, welcoming and equitable environments. The CAE’s mission is to foster innovative and collaborative design of educational facilities and to heighten public awareness on the importance of learning environments.
I am looking for a CTE planner who has expertise in Community College CTE planning of facilities who might be interested in joining a team for an RFP pursuit.
Can you provide some additional detail regarding specifically the type of knowledge/background you're looking for and what role this person may have on your team? Any particular CTE programs being proposed by the client?
Hi Arlen, The programs include: Building Construction Tech, Automotive, Diesel, Welding and Aviation. We are looking for someone with expertise in these fields to serve as a planner/programmer for our team.
Nicholas, where is the project located and as mentioned by Arlen, can you provide some additional information on the project.
Hi Janvi, The project is for Portland Community College, Portland, Oregon. See my comments to Arlen above re: project and role we are looking for.
I have done a considerable of CTE Planning at the High School Level in NJ and Delaware, if you think that would qualify.
Please feel free to call or e-mail if you would like to discuss.
