Robert Theel, FAIA, is EXP’s Vice President of Federal Design Strategy, serves as Chair of AIA Chicago’s Fellowship Committee and is active in the chapters Bridge Mentoring Program. Robert continues his commitment to design excellence by strengthening EXP's ties to GSA and other federal agencies, showcasing EXP’s past government work, current accomplishments and design qualifications.
As the former Chief Architect for GSA’s Great Lakes Region (R5), Robert was instrumental in the development and implementation of several of GSA’s legacy programs including Design Excellence, First Impressions and Building Design Standards.
