This Guide is the result of a multi-year research project that looked at factors that enhanced team integration, which in turn lead to improved project performance on integrated projects. The research was a follow-up to the seminal 1997-1998 Penn State/Construction Industry Institute, which indicated that Design Build outperforms CM at Risk or Design Bid Build. The Guide is intended to assist owners in developing the right project delivery strategy to maximize integration and improve project outcomes. The research discovered that there is a blurring between project delivery methods, but that projects with a singular contract (Design Build or IPD) typically outperform projects with multiple, split contracts such as hard bid or CM at Risk. #ProjectDeliveryKnowledgeCommunity #strategy #integration #projectdelivery
