The Academy of Architecture for Justice (AAJ) promotes and fosters the exchange of information and knowledge between members, professional organizations, and the public for high-quality planning, design, and delivery of justice architecture.
Angad Bhalla will introduce the topic by talking about Herman Wallace and the film, Herman’s House. During this time, Angad will show clips from the film. Craig Haney will discuss policy issues and psychological impacts of solitary confinement. He we also discuss his most recent Senate testimony on June 19, 2012 . Panel Discussion with Craig Haney, Raphael Sperry, Angad Bhalla and Melissa Farling. Raphael Sperry will address ethics issues. Through this public dialogue this session will engage the audience by taking comments and asking questions. Questions will include design issues, responsibilities, next steps .
