The Academy of Architecture for Justice (AAJ) promotes and fosters the exchange of information and knowledge between members, professional organizations, and the public for high-quality planning, design, and delivery of justice architecture.
This joint AAJ/NACM presentation will reimagine and predict the characteristics of tomorrow’s courthouse by anticipating future court operational and facility changes that will result from rapidly advancing technologies, economic necessity, significant operational trends and changing demographic, climatic and societal conditions. This will not be about “tweaking” today’s courthouse. It will be about anticipating the emergence of an entirely new paradigm for future judicial facilities. This, in turn, could have an astonishing impact on how “today’s” court facilities are programmed, planned and designed. #2013AAJConference #CourtsTrack #Audio #Conferences #AcademyonArchitectureforJustice #Transcription #Presentations
