Creating a Sustainability Action Plan: a guide from the AIA 2030 Working Group

Bravo to the AIA 2030 Working Group for all your efforts, including the latest -- the new guide to creating a Sustainability Action Plan.

Download here: http://content.aia.org/sites/default/files/2021-03/Creating_a_Sustainability_Action_Plan.pdf

This will help firms who want to sign the AIA 2030 Commitment get on the path and start reporting.

Next: In addition to pushing the firms to sign and report, let's get the market to pull, too! Calling clients and owners: Require your architect consultants to be signatories (and reporting).

Big props to the many who contributed to this work, including but not limited to Gwen Fuertes, Tate Walker, Barbra Batshalom, Keith Hempel, FAIA, Rand Ekman, FAIA, LEED Fellow, ,

This guide contains:

  • What is a Sustainability Action Plan?
  • Creating change at your firm
  • Elements of a Sustainability Action Plan
  • Updating your Sustainability Action Plan
  • Resources and Worksheets
