The Committee on the Environment (COTE®) is an AIA Knowledge Community working for architects, allied professionals, and the public to achieve climate action and climate justice through design. We believe that design excellence is the foundation of a healthy, sustainable, and equitable future. Board approved Climate Action Plan- April 2020

The AIA Board of Directors approved the plan (Final Plan attached) at their meeting on April 15, 2020, by adopting the following motion:

The Board approves the AIA Climate Action Plan, as presented at this meeting.

Staff will now begin to prioritize and operationalize this plan into the next three to five years of planning.
