Design for Aging Review 12

This compilation of 34 outstanding designs for assisted living facilities, continuing care retirement communities, and nursing homes represents excellence among current work designed by architects for an aging population. A jury of three prominent members invited by LeadingAge for their expertise on the operational side of senior living facilities, two national architects, and one leading interior design professional selected the exciting range of projects featured in this title, the twelfth volume in the successful Design for Aging series. Photographs, detailed plans, renderings, and comprehensive project data illuminate each design. In addition to the Merit and Special Recognition awards granted to select projects in the categories of Small, Building, and Planning / Concept Design, there is also a special 10-Year Award that celebrates the lasting influence of outstanding aged-care design, and an enhanced Insights and Innovations chapter.
