Eva arrived in Bryan, Texas, in 1994, after living and working in Mississippi, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico. She joined The Arkitex Studio Inc in 1997 and became a partner in 2008. As a principal of The Arkitex Studio, Eva has managed commercial, institutional, and residential projects. She has a particular passion for projects that serve the community and for historic buildings and places. Eva was President of the Brazos Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in 2000 and 2011 and as Chapter Director in 2018. Eva participated at the state level from 2012 through 2015 as Chair of the Historic Resources Committee for the Texas Society of Architects. She has served as the Secretary, President Elect, and President of the Board for the Texas Society of Architects. In 2023 Eva is serving as Immediate Past President, chairing Nominations, Conference Futures, and Administrative Policies Committees. She also currently serves her local community on the Bryan Historic Landmark Commission.
