I grew up in the New Orleans area and remained in Baton Rouge after obtaining both my B.S. & M.S. degrees from LSU. I bleed purple & gold.
My association management career began in 1997 after I left my job at LSU for LAIFA, I've served in many association volunteer roles for both LSAE and NAIFA National. I was the 2005 Chair of the NAIFA AEAC (Association Executive Advisory Council). In 2008, after many years of Board service, I was elected State President of LSAE. In 2010, I passed the Certified Association Executive (CAE) exam during the 50th anniversary of the credential. Earning the CAE is my most honored professional achievement. 2022 celebrates my 25th year as a loyal and continuous member of ASAE (American Society of Association Executives) and LSAE.
I met my now husband Jake through my association management career in 2010. We have been married since April 2011. We are a "house divided" - he loves Alabama and I love LSU. Football season is always fun in our house. #geauxtigers
My son Spencer is 24 and has served in the U.S. Army. I have also been a longtime volunteer with the Baton Rouge Food Bank, and I enjoy Cajun cooking!
