Bio

Andrew Porth, AIA is the president and founder of Porth Architects, Ltd., which was established in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1991. The firm operated in Minneapolis for 14 years before relocating to Red Lodge, Montana in 2005.

Porth Architects, Ltd. has completed well over 100 projects in the Midwest and Rocky Mountain West. Since its formation, the firm has concentrated on the design of single family residences, both new and remodeled. Project scope has ranged from a single coffee table to multi million dollar homes with one constant: high quality design that meets client’s expectations for beauty, function, and durability.

Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Williams College, a Master of Science Degree from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master of Architecture degree from Carnegie-Mellon University. He is a licensed architect in several Midwestern and Rocky Mountain states and is a LEED accredited design professional.

A past Chair of the Custom Residential Architect’s Network of the American Institute of Architects (CRAN), Mr. Porth is presently a member of the AIA Residential Knowledge Community advisory group. When he is not skiing or fly fishing, Andrew can be found at Porth Architects’ office on Broadway in Red Lodge along with his dogs Madison and Ruby.
