I have worked in the Healthcare Industry for over 10 years in all stages of design. My work experience consists of a replacement Hospital, Surgery Center, Specialty Healthcare related Tenant Improvements many types of Medical Office Buildings and Healthcare Master Planning. I have also had the opportunity to diversify my experience by working on several Higher Education, K-8, and Commercial projects, which include a parking garage and football athletic complex to name a few.
I have had the opportunity to be involved in several large healthcare projects. One of which included a major replacement hospital that I worked on from master planning through the end of construction. During the last few years I have worked extensively on a diverse range of over 40 healthcare projects that have allowed me to expand my knowledge in the healthcare field. Additionally I worked on the master planning of a large expansion of a hospital in downtown Boise.
As technology has adapted and changed in the Architecture field, I have helped lead this change in our office. Our office was one of the first offices in the Boise area to adopt the integrated design software called Building Information Modeling (BIM). As this software has evolved and changed, I have been a leader in getting new standards of production established to increase efficiency as well as providing a superior and well collaborated project we hand off to the client.
I enjoy the challenges Architecture brings from the planning stages through the final construction phases. I look forward to the changes in the Architecture field and making sure I am involved in getting the latest processes and ideas established in our office so that we stay ahead of the industry.
Outside the office, I can be found skiing in Idaho with my family in the winter and utilizing the ample amounts of Boise mountain biking trails in the summer.
