ANTONIO J. AMADEO, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP
Antonio J. Amadeo is a professional who brings over 28 years experience in space planning with 14 years dedicated experience in health care design including serving as Director of Facilities Design and Development for Tampa General Hospital, a 988 bed private not-for-profit hospital in West Central Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (1981) and a Master Degree of Architecture (1986) from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and is licensed to practice in Washington, D.C. (1988), Maryland (1990), Virginia (1991) and Florida (1994). He is both a registered Architect and a licensed Interior Designer (1996) by examination in the State of Florida.
Mr. Amadeo was appointed to the Architectural Review Commission of the City of Tampa in 1999 – 2007, and the City of Tampa Variance Review Board 2007- present, serving as Chairperson. In addition, Mr. Amadeo served as an appointed member by the BOCC as Chair of the Hillsborough County Public Art Commission from 1999-2010. He presently serves on the advisory board of the International Academy of Design and Technology Interior Design Program and is President-elect of the American Institute of Architects, Tampa Bay Chapter. He is also a Brandon Chamber member serving on the Building and Grounds Committee and on the Board of the New Brandon Community Advantage Center.
Mr. Amadeo is both a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). Mr. Amadeo is also a LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) accredited professional. He has been recently admitted as a candidate for ACHA examination.
Mr. Amadeo is the CEO/President of LDC International, Inc., founded in 2002, provides architectural and interior design services with a focus on space planning specializing in corporate and healthcare environments. LDC International, Inc. is a State of Florida Minority Business Enterprise.
