Cyrus Rivetna is the founder and principal of Rivetna Architects Inc (www.rivetna.com) located in Chicago. His award-winning designs balance aesthetics, practicality, and sustainability; and are located through the United States and Canada. His versatility as an architect is reflected in the variety of projects he leads --from municipal, commercial, hospitality, multi-family, religious, to high-end single-family homes, and condominium interiors.
While working with Pritzker Prize winning architect BV Doshi, Cyrus developed a deep understanding of community and the vernacular. Each project weaves the client program with site and context, to create a design that truly responds to the project criteria. Each project is an opportunity to improve lives through architecture. He was a pioneer in developing in underserved neighborhoods in Chicago’s south and west sides. He truly believes everyone deserves great architecture.
Cyrus is the 2023 co-chair for Practice Management Knowledge Community, and served on the Center for Practice, and AIA's Covid 19 Taskforce.
