Bio

Architect and Project Manager as well as the Senior Technologist in Sustainability, managing CH2M HIL's Federal Sustainable Design and Consulting Practice. Over 25 years of experience in architecture and 16 years of experience in sustainable design practices and LEED Project Management with LEED Certifications on more than 36 buildings. Projects have received the 2008 Air Force Honor Award for Sustainability, the 2009 Air Force Honor Award for Design and Merrit awards in 2012 and 2013 for exceptional building renovation and Innovation. 15 years experience in project management with experience in a wide range of municipal, DOD and DOE projects including Water treatment and reclamation, Military Operations, Aircraft Maintenance, and other Infrastructure projects.

Currently a Senior Technologist in charge of the Global Sustainable Design Community of Practice for CH2M HILL’s. Experienced in sustainable design practices, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™). A LEED Accredited Professional (2002) and expert LEED project administrator with LEED Certifications of more than 31 buildings, 20 of those Gold certifications. Projects have received the 2008 Air Force Honor Award for Sustainability and the 2009 Air Force Honor Award for Design. Also accredited through the Green Building Initiative as a Green Globe Professional.

Currently active in FIATECH (a consortium of global industry and company leaders) on committees for membership, developing a supply chain sustainability index, automatic code checking as well as coordinating discussion between FIATECH and USGBC on the creating of an Industrial and Manufacturing LEED rating system.

Speaker on numerous topics including best practices for Sustainable Design, Building Information Modeling, and the future of sustainable design.
