Bio

I've been with the City of Kettering since 2000 and serving as the Chief Building Official and Certified Master Plans Examiner. My mission is to serve people and help them achieve their goals using the building code to their advantage as a tool for design.

I'm Past President of AIA Ohio (2008) and a Past President of AIA Dayton (1993). Today I'm an unabashed ambassador and cheer leader of the American Institute of Architects. I teach classes on the building code and public art and serve as a guest critic at the University of Cincinnati.
