Bruce Hazzard established Design Management, LLC as a collaborative group of entrepreneurs associated with various aspects of development, design and construction who provide consulting to smaller development companies, public entities and individual clientele, balancing design, environment, community, finance and art. He has over 30 years of design, planning, management and construction experience with a focus on conservation-based land use and environmental planning in sensitive sites. A LEED Accredited Professional, his broad expertise in the key areas of design, project planning, project costing, program management, design team management, entitlements and construction management, and his ability to bring a "developer's perspective" to the design process, greatly assist both large and small developers, land owners and government entities that are not lead by an in-house development team. As Managing Partner, he brings a different perspective to that of most professional team members, in that, he has spent the last three decades in the design and development fields- sitting on both sides of the development table. His educational background, while based in architectural design, also was extended to include landscape architecture, regional planning, urban design and construction management.
