Having worked with Nvision Architecture, Inc. for over 17 years I bring to our team a broad range of varied architectural experience. I am unique to our firm because I started working with our group as a young designer and have grown to be a proven leader of our firm. I am proud to have grown up in Alaska and to be a member of the local community. Since my days attending school in the Anchorage School District, I have graduated with two architectural degrees and become a professional licensed architect and owner/principal of our firm.
As owner/principal of Nvision, I am totally committed to the success of the firm’s projects, and for this reason I am a hands-on project leader, designer, and administrator. I believe that I am a natural project leader who excels at coordination, architectural design, and document production. I have been told I am well-regarded for developing thoughtful design approaches with input from a variety of sources including construction professionals. It is a focus of mine to be extremely attentive of client needs and I strive to include all parties in the process. I focus on being a level-headed and informed decision maker for which I have spent much of my career managing complex community based projects. I have successfully completed notable award-winning designs for the Downtown Soup Kitchen in Anchorage, along with the Alaska Culinary Academy and new student dormitory for AVTEC in Seward.
Overall, I am extremely passionate about Architecture and contributing to the built environment, and I am driven by the service and a genuine desire to build strong productive working relationships with my clients. As an architect I have always loved the notion that people get to experience the buildings we design, so it only makes sense that they function correctly (on multiple levels) for the end users and the community.
