Mark holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University and a minor degree in Architectural Civil Engineering Technology. He has practiced in the Boston, Massachusetts area since 1983. A member in good standing with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), he has continued to pursue additional education through coursework at Harvard University - Graduate School of Design and the Boston Architectural College as well as many other resources, to stay current with the art and the business of Architecture. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design - Accredited Professional (LEED-AP), a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and holds active licenses in several state jurisdictions throughout New England and beyond.
Mark's personal expertise is in the coordination and delivery of high quality architectural services for high profile and complex projects. Since 1983, Mark has worked with several Boston based firms producing designs for public housing, hotels, museums, office space and residential projects. After creating the firm Mark Forth Architect, Inc., he has continued to produce designs for high quality commercial spaces, public museum and private exhibits, and to provide design and contract administration services on large-scale hospitality projects.
