Bio

Jodi van der Wiel FAIA, is an award-winning architect with Moody Nolan. Her architecture is human-centric and environmentally conscious. She intentionally designs spaces to promote human health and well-being. Her work advances innovation and advocates for people-first spaces. She believes culturally informed, sustainable, and beautiful architecture can benefit health and strengthen cultural identity.

Jodi supports education, ingenuity and design excellence and institutes programs for architects and students. She launched formal mentorship and programming for the Cleveland design community. She amplifies the voices unheard and positions emerging professionals as mentors and leaders in service and practice. She invented a globally distributed digital Home Architecture Camp [2020] to share the profession of architecture; and, through engagement with the Girl Scouts, she builds the self-confidence of young girls to become architects.
