Primarily have served as a Project Architect of Educational and Mix-Use projects starting from Preliminary Design and ending with Construction Documents.
Considerable amount of my work in the past three years have been focused with leading a staff through Construction Administration for a Mix-Use City Center while maintaining the use of a BIM model for the simultaneous use of Construction Documents, Construction Administration and rendering. While it is a struggle to achieve this goal during a project with moving objectives, non-traditional fast track construction, and tightened budgets, the benefits have greatly outweighed the setbacks by using a 3D modeling assisted project delivery process.
In past couple years, many of my tasks have been combining Project Management along into the daily work of a PA.
Future goals will be to reign in some of these skills achieved while looking to re-incorporate project estimating, specification writing and facility management work generated from the BIM model. Using new technology has to be a step by step process especially for large projects.
