    I invite everyone interested to join our webinar next week on the growing crisis of emptying or vacant houses of worship across the USA and Europe. We have 16 outstanding participants: legal scholars, urban planners, architects, public officials, realtors, sociologists, religious leaders, and historic preservationists.
    The webinar will be livestreamed on Wednesday, May 3, 11:30 a.m.--1:00 p.m. EDT. It will run 90 minutes max and is free and open to all, but you must register at:  Welcome!     Sponsored by CSLR and Canopy Forum, this virtual conference will explore issues facing religious congregations, neighborhoods, towns, and cities where houses of worship are falling into disrepair or vacancy. These challenging situations are complicated by economic, social, legal, theological, and cultural questions that merit analysis and attention.
