Our Mission

The Interfaith Design Knowledge Community (ID) is one of the twenty-one ways to make an impact through the AIA Knowledge Communities.

The Interfaith Design (ID) knowledge community encourages and supports excellence in the design of worship spaces and their accoutrements. ID is an association of professionals whose primary interest is religious facilities in a broad array of traditions.

Get involved!

The American Institute of Architects actively promotes a diverse profession, including race, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability or sexual orientation. We strive to be an inclusive Knowledge Community representing diversity of thought, geographic diversity, both traditional and non-traditional practice and as well as providing opportunities for seasoned professionals, associate members, and young architects.

We're looking for enthusiastic people who want to help make our profession better. Learn more about the pathways to involvement in the Interfaith Design Knowledge Community.
