Chicago Sukkah Design Festival

Those  in the Chicago area are invited to witness and participate in the second annual Chicago Sukkah Design Festival. Organized by Could Be Design and Lawndale Pop up Spot and in partnership with the Chicago Architecture Biennial, the festival commemorates the Jewish holiday of Sukkot through pairing community organizations in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood with architectural designers to design and construct sukkahs (small outdoor pavilions). Running from October 1-15, 2023, there are a number of great programs throughout the run of the festival, including an Interfaith Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 5 from 6-8pm. For those unable to attend, we plan to share photos and more about the festival in an upcoming post.  All are welcome!
