Hello!  I hope that everyone who attended AIA'24 in Washington DC last week enjoyed the education, the city, and the networking!

The Project Delivery Open Forum event on Friday, June 7th invited Bill Hercules from the AIA-AGC Joint Committee to join in on a discussion on Partnering for enhanced collaboration.  There was a 45 minute presentation about the PDKC and then Best Practices on successful partnering.  Following the presentation, there was a 45 minute discussion with the audience sharing experiences and stories and additional Best Practices on the topic of Partnering.  The PDKC was happy to discuss another year of engaging discussion at the AIA'24 Conference.

For those who attended, and for those who couldn't make the event, please see attached final PPT presentation.  I'd love to continue this thread with additional Best Practices from the Project Delivery Community.  Here are the questions asked:

    1. What are other best practices of partnering?

    2. How has your firm mitigated partnering risks?

    3. What do architects need to know?  What do contractors need to know?  What do owners need to know?

    4. How can architects lead the collaboration process?

    5. What can AIA and PDKC do more to prepare the profession?
