This edition contains more than 20 exemplary projects from the 2004-2005 competition (eighth cycle) that encompass a broad view of facilities designed for senior citizens, including nursing home, dementia care, assisted living, and continuing care retirement communities. This newest edition now includes client commentary, specific project challenges and solutions, and projects that incorporate sustainable design. The book was first published in 2006.
