Subject: NOMA conference / October 14-18
COTE friends,
As we talk about JEDI issues in our firms, our industry, and in our climate action work, we have also been talking about how to connect with BIPOC practitioners in a number of meaningful ways.
One way that AIA and many individuals within the organization are trying to do this is tap into NOMA more ... and here's a great opportunity to do just that.
NOMA's annual conference is coming up -- October 14-18 -- and it's virtual this year. Which means that attending is far more feasible and affordable than it otherwise might be.
Conference registration is very reasonable: Right now (early bird rates), the price is $150 for members and $200 for non-members. (The price goes up to $250 after October 3.) Joining the org might be worth considering, too.
Check it out: www.noma.net.
I hope to see you there!
