The Young Architects Forum (YAF), a program of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the College of Fellows (COF), is organized to address issues of particular importance to recently licensed architects.

    Call for submissions on the topic of equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives in architecture.
    In light of a both a global pandemic and  nationwide protests against racial injustice, we encourage a diverse range of perspectives that address the intersection of the profession and:

    • racial justice and gender equity initiatives
    • working from home while parenting and/or caring for family members
    • social impact design and community design centers
    • K-12 architectural education initiatives
    • personal reflections and  editorials of current events
    • other relevant topics
    Connection's editorial committee welcomes the submission of articles, editorials, project profiles, interviews/spotlights, photography, and other design content. Submitted content is subject to editorial review and selection for publication in e-magazine format based on relevance to the theme. Draft deadline: 8/3/2020
