Women are living, learning, and leading towards a sustainable future. Their stories can help us all accelerate toward that vision in the built environment. These stories have heightened relevance and urgency as we understand the connections between public health and global health, the role of design in mapping a positive future, and the value of female leadership.

    I'm delighted to announce that
Lindsay Baker and I are hosting a new podcast, Women in Sustainability: Design the Future, to elevate and explore the voices of women driving sustainable practices. Acuity Brands is our partner and producer in this exciting venture. Check out our intro show and our first guest episode, featuring Sara Neff of Kilroy Realty Corporation: Women in Sustainability Podcast

For me, this is an exciting new trajectory of a journey that began some years ago, when I co-authored a book with Lance Hosey, Women in Green: Voices in Sustainable Design, that sparked a vibrant and enduring conversation.

That's wonderful! I just subscribed and look forward to listening to it. It is refreshing to hear women's voices talking about sustainability for a change, too often the speakers in conferences and the like are all male.

    regards,

I'm surprised as I see women in the majority in nearly all sustainability conferences, discussions, and advancements. Especially in health, process changes, and the needed planning and connection/collaboration driven shifts in our industry.

This does look interesting. Thanks for sharing, COTE.
