The Committee on the Environment (COTE®) is an AIA Knowledge Community working for architects, allied professionals, and the public to achieve climate action and climate justice through design.     In the built environment world, it is no secret how important policy and codes are. In recent years, so many groups have been working to create pathways for policies, standards, and codes that will help use move to zero emissions (and the drawdown that we need). 

    The Carbon Leadership Forum, for example, has created a valuable Policy Toolkit, which is ideal for citizens in any field who are trying to help their communities step toward policy frameworks that support climate action, health, and equity.
