Could anyone direct me to an AIA person or resource that is knowledgeable about the various systems for composting toilets available?

I am working with the Hostel in the Forest in Brunswick, Georgia, which is anticipating moving to a more modern higher capacity system in the next year.

    Thanks!

Miller-Hull used an advanced composting toilet system in the Bullitt Center.

The major manufacturers are Phoenix and Clivus Multrum for bigger systems.  Good luck!

We've used Clivus Multrum composting toilets on several projects, ranging from their 'Trailhead' modular prefabricated system to foam flush units in more commercial settings.  The Southface Eco Office in Atlanta has had their foam flush composting toilets in operation for more than a decade (the Kendeda Building for Innovative Sustainable Design, designed in collaboration with Miller Hull and now under construction at Georgia Tech, will also feature composting toilets).  I have found Don Mills at Clivus to be a great resource (especially for their products): donmills@clivusmultrum.com

We are installing composting toilets in our City Services Building.  BuroHappold are our design engineers.  We are doing the permitting and obtaining LA County and State approvals ourselves.
