How to fix your "Hidden Member" profile

As part of our transition to a new database system, we've noticed that some of our formerly visible members are now listed as "Hidden Member" within our community sites. Are you one of them? Here's how to fix this!

1. Login at

2. Go to My Account (click on your name in the upper right, then click on My Account, or use the direct link

3. On the right side, look for the top red box which says Manage. In that box, click on Edit >

4. This will open to your Profile edit page.

Scroll down to bottom box, labeled Directory. In the upper right corner of this box, click on the red link labeled Change. (If you weren't sure if you were hidden or not, check the checkbox in the lower left here. Checked = hidden.)

5. Scroll to the bottom of the box, and uncheck the checkbox labeled Directory Opt Out, then press the red Save button.

6. You'll want to give the site a little bit of time to synchronize across the platforms. If you still aren't unhidden after a couple hours, please contact us!
