The Interior Architecture Knowledge Community (IAKC) is committed to advancing the practice of Interior Architecture by providing its membership with resources to elevate their professional practice and design excellence. We serve to facilitate a national dialogue that addresses a range of key issues, including innovative design and programming, the incorporation of sustainable materials and technologies, and the social, cultural, and spatial impact of architecture on human experience. IAKC seeks to address national issues with regional sensitivity, providing a platform for its membership to share knowledge, gain expertise, and form collaborative relationships with industry peers and allied partners. The Forge

WSA Studio created a new space for The Forge by Pillar, a research and development space designed to inject creative thinking and solutions into seemingly conservative business situations. The Forge is a place that companies and businesses, as well as individuals can meet to work on projects, brainstorm new ideas, write code or create software products. We provided space planning, construction documents and interior renovations for the company. The company needed an open space that reflected their company philosophy and culture. WSA Studio was able to listen to their needs and created a space the client requested. The result is an entirely open environment that allows teams to collaborate.
