The Committee on Design (COD) was founded to promote design excellence among members of the AIA, the broader design community, and the public at large, both nationally and internationally.
This year COD will offer two domestic design conferences investigating The Authenticity of Place. The first will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana March 23 -25, 2023, and the second will be held in Minneapolis/St. Paul, September 20 – 23, 2023.

The Ernst Ludwig house was actually a shared studio building for the member artists. Wilhelm Dieters was the manager of the Darmstadt Artists Colony.
