The CAFM KC presented a prescient webinar exploring the implications of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to Facilities Management. Providing guidance for the 90-minute session were Deke Smith, FAIA and Birgitta Foster, both from the executive leadership of buildingSMART alliance. Long entrenched in the development of BIM, Deke and Birgitta share their insights to illustrate how architects as designers should design with a focus on how the facility is going to be maintained over its 100+ year life.
