01-24-2012 09:26 PM

This session discusses how architects can improve their design management services as contractors push for a more active role in managing the design phase of projects through Virtual Design and Construction using BIM model; and how ambitious performance, cost and delivery goals were met through a heightened level of integration throughout the accelerated design-build process of the new District Headquarters for the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers. Very worthwhile project and presentation and very well done - about 4.5 stars. Perhaps a little too much time on housekeeping and advertisement for the TAP committee at the beginning.
