Bio

Michael Kaufman has combined years of professional expertise as an Architect and member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), with a passion for cutting-edge technology by launching the Architechnologist – an online magazine dedicated to exploring the emerging technology that affects how we interact with and experience the world around us. Most importantly, the focus will be on the end-user's view of new hardware, software and everything in-between (call it "elseware"). A long-time resident of lower Manhattan, Michael was the Technology Editor at DOWNTOWN Magazine (both print and online), focusing on technology companies, personalities and events south of Houston Street and in the greater Manhattan area. Michael has appeared as the featured interview on IdeaMensch.com, is one of the eMinutes "First 500 Entrepreneurs" and serves as a judge for both the Mobile Apps Showdown and the Innovations Design and Engineering Awards at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Specialties: User Experience, Consumer Technology, CE Evangelist.
