Devin Kimmel is an award winning licensed architect, licensed landscape architect and illustrator.
His design skills have been recognized not only by his extremely satisfied clients, but also by the University of Maryland. In fact, this university granted Mr. Kimmel not one, but two top design awards. The University of Maryland granted Devin a top design award when he graduated as a Landscape Architect, and then a second one when he received his Master of Architecture.
Devin also won a professional scholarship to study in Rome based on his professional design and drawing ability. His drawings frequently obtain recognition in specialized environments.
He has traveled to Europe numerous times to study and sketch and has a great understanding of classical proportions and detailing. He also has experience with historic preservation and restoration of landmark Maryland buildings.
Devin grew up in Bel Air, Maryland. After attending both undergraduate and graduate schools at the University of Maryland, he settled in Annapolis. He resides there with his wife and son, walking to work every day to his studio in Annapolis.
