TAP Grant program

When:  Oct 12, 2023 from 11:00 PM to 11:30 PM (ET)

TAP Grant Program

Deadline: October 12

It is common to find that emerging design professionals, small firm practitioners, and others have amazing ideas on how technology can deliver better results for the built environment—but struggle to find the funding, mentoring, or trusted partners to carry out these disruptive ideas. To help foster this type of creativity and innovation within the architecture industry, this grant aims to help cover some of the development fees, and provide access to industry-leading mentors to help turn an innovative idea into a design tool.

The proposal must result in a new process or tool leveraging emergent AEC technology to solve challenges faced by architects and contribute to firm prosperity.

Sponsor

Technology in Architectural Practice (TAP) is a knowledge community of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and serves as a resource for AIA members, the profession, and the public in the deployment of computer technology in the practice of architecture. TAP leaders monitor the development of computer technology and its impact on architecture practice and the entire building life cycle, including design, construction, facility management, and retirement or reuse.
