Personal Space: Have we crossed the line?

As experts in design, culture, human behavior, and environmental wellness, architects cultivate environments that enrich the daily lives of our communities. Buildings don’t begin at the façade. As architects, we create a blend of public, private, and transitional spaces that constitute interior-exterior environments, and the transitions between them. Utilizing this ideology, we create great architecture that engenders quality neighborhoods and cities, and usable, alive indoor and outdoor spaces that invite social interaction, communication, and diversity.

To spark dialogue around the power of interior architectural design, the Interior Architecture Knowledge Community will lead an interactive discussion on the definition and creation of Personal Space, including factors involved in the evolution of an ever-changing and equitable design process.
