Who we are

The Academy page supports AIAs efforts to connect education and practice. AIA works with faculty, staff and students; practitioners; and collateral organizations to support excellence in education and research, expand the pathway to the profession, and prepare future architects. AIA regularly pools resources with AIAS, ACSA, NCARB, NAAB, and others to provide scholarships, educational programming, research, resources, and more.

    The Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) has the MillerKnoll Healthcare Scholarship open and accepting applications until September 21. It's for emerging professionals to attend the Healthcare Design Conference (HCD) in November in New Orleans. <o:p></o:p>

    • Candidates must have a minimum of one year, maximum six years' work experience as design professionals as of October 1, 2023. One year of experience must be under the supervision of an architect working on health care projects or one year of work experience in a health care facility in the US and/or International.<o:p></o:p>
    • Candidates must have the education or experience that will ensure eligibility for licensing in the U.S. within three years. Newly licensed architects who meet the one to six years' work experience above may also apply.<o:p></o:p>
    • Eligibility timeframe is based on date of graduation.<o:p></o:p>
