The Academy page supports AIA's efforts to connect education and practice. AIA works with faculty, staff and students; practitioners; and collateral organizations to support excellence in education and research, expand the pathway to the profession, and prepare future architects. AIA regularly pools resources with AIAS, ACSA, NCARB, NAAB, and others to provide scholarships, educational programming, research, resources, and more.

    Shape the conversation at AIA'24!

    Every year, AIA opens a call for proposals to solicit the best speakers and content for the AIA Conference on Architecture. A'24 will showcase ahead-of-the-curve content from a diversity of voices and career stages including topics such as AI, smart materials, community-centered design, sustainability, wellness, and equity.

     

    We are looking for subject matter experts like you review educational session and tour proposals for the AIA Conference on Architecture 2024!

     

    If accepted as a reviewer, you are expected to:

    1. Have experience presenting, reviewing proposals, or have attended an AIA conference or other educational conference.

    2. Be available for Peer Reviewer training on October 18, and throughout the review process (October 30–November 3, 2023).

    3. Consider the rating rubric and complete the online scorecard form for each submission you are assigned for review. Note: Reviewers may be asked to review up to 20 proposals.

    4. Provide comments for each proposal you review to support your decisions.

     

    Individuals selected as peer reviewers who satisfy their review responsibilities within the designated timeframe will be eligible for a 15% discount off the A'24 registration fee. Remember YOU are a target audience for attending, so make sure your voice is heard to Shape the conversation!
