    Amanda S. Barton, an HKS architect and community leader, is a force in sustainable design. She specializes in coastal hospitality projects, pushing the boundaries of design. As President of AIA Miami and a member of AIA Florida's Resilience and Adaptation Committees, she's a champion for sustainability. Co-founder of HKS Resilience Studio and author of Resilience Design Toolkits, Amanda's impact is profound. 
     
    Sammy Shams, a leading Sustainable Design Professional at HKS, is a sought-after speaker renowned for expertise in sustainability, building performance, and resilience as a co-founder of HKS's Resilience Studio. As a member of the AIA Resilience & Adaptation Advisory Group, his influence on resilience
     architecture is noteworthy.
