AIA Staff have given the COD till TOMMOROW -April  24, for you to respond to a survey on member interest for our Brazil Conference Oct 17-26, 2024. The 10 day trip is projected to cost in the $8000-$12,000 range without airfare.

We will visit Brazil's roots of modernism started by artists & architects from Lina Bo Bardi, Paulo Mendes da Rocha, to Oscar Niemeyer, and more. We will also see the contemporary art scene.  Brazil's capitol, Brasilia will highlight the master plan, major federal and civic buildings, and other cultural sites at this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, the 10-day conference will end in Rio de Janeiro and experience how design and arts have revitalized downtown, and its lively beach scene designed by Burle Marx.  View itinerary >

Sounds like an amazing design conference in Brazil. Susan Chin did a great job. My wife and I are going.
