Who we are

The AIA Technology in Architectural Practice Knowledge Community (TAP) serves as a resource for AIA members, the profession, and the public in the deployment of computer technology in the practice of architecture. TAP leaders monitor the development of computer technology and its impact on architecture practice and the entire building life cycle, including design, construction, facility management, and retirement or reuse.

At the BIM Invitational Meetup, the value lies in the depth and quality of conversations rather than the scale of presentations. Our agenda is curated to include a variety of conversations covering a wide range of topics relevant to the AEC industry. Our attendees are peers who will provide different and thoughtful experiences to learn from. Ranging From innovative construction techniques to sustainable design practices to BIM and Revit management, attendees can delve into niche subjects, explore emerging trends, or something in between – all in a collaborative environment.

Because I believe that the academic knowledge and work experience complements each other
