The mission of the Historic Resources Committee (HRC) is to identify, understand, and preserve architectural heritage, both nationally and internationally. HRC is engaged in promoting the role of the historic architect within the profession through the development of information and knowledge among members, allied professional organizations, and the public.

    Preservation, Conservation, and Adaptive Reuse of Sacred Structures and Sites

    The Washington, DC Chapter of the Association for Preservation Technology is pleased to announce its Fall 2022 Symposium. This year's theme is Sacred Spaces: Preservation, Conservation, and Adaptive Reuse of Sacred Structures and Sites.  Presentation proposals should be centered around work done at a current or former sacred structure or site which may include but are not limited to churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, and other spaces considered sacred to its patrons and adherents.  The location will be announced in the coming weeks.
