The historic global pandemic proved how school must be grounded in our common humanity. This booklet, produced in partnership with VS, serves as a memento of ideas freely exchanged during a rare time in human history. Breaking Down the Silos introduces six major themes that can inspire more dialogue and participation to bridge the divide between the 20th century schoolhouse and a future 21st century network of healthy, creative, caring, empowered, motivated learners. The pandemic has verified that we are part of an interconnected learning ecosystem. Thank you for contributing to this movement for healing and change and we look forward to any other ideas and dialogue from the CAE membership!
