The
Architectural Commission of Beverly Hills is a leading example of an Architectural Advisory Panel; Santa Monica has one of the better review boards, but it might not qualify as an advisory panel. In general, the Consumer Board of California has created an exceptional context of comprehensible practice for the state of California.
In contrast, it is incredible how poorly run states like Arizona and rural Oregon are. For example, in Northern Arizona, Category IV, Type I event centers have wood framed community centers attached; the airport has combustible beams that limit the value of the airport to locally defined Cessna size plains. It is frightening that Arizona claims to be a state in the United States of America, and, the Professional Board has continued to protect negligent practice while keeping emerging professional, like me, damaged.
It is my professional recommendation to introduce a national Professional Consumer board, like architecture.professional.gov to administer correct practice and progressive skill resource.

Subject: city architect advisory panel
Looking for some examples of cities w an architects advisory panel, or something like that. Anyone know of any? Not an architectural review board per se, but an advisory panel of architects that serves a municipality on an ongoing basis.
